Respecting Privacy in Our School Community: Videos/Photos
We’ve received a few questions about photography and video recording around the school. We’d like to take this opportunity to clarify expectations and ensure that all families feel safe and respected.
In accordance with CBE Administrative Regulation 1064, parents and visitors are not permitted to photograph or record any students other than their own while on school property. This is to protect student privacy and create a safe and respectful environment for all.
Please also note that public spaces outside of school property—such as sidewalks or community areas—are not under the school’s jurisdiction. In these areas, individuals, including parents, are allowed to record.
We encourage all members of our school community to be thoughtful and considerate when capturing photos or videos, and to always seek permission if other students might be included.
