Hidden Valley School's New Playground Breaks Ground on July 15, 2024 

It’s been three long years, but the Friends of Hidden Valley School Society is proud to announce that all funds have been raised to build our new inclusive playground located directly behind our school.

Special thanks go out to our school council parent volunteers (past and present) who poured many hours of volunteer time to perform school and community engagement, brainstorming and initiating fundraising campaigns and countless hours of grant writing. We’d also like to thank all our students, their families, school staff and community members for participating in our fundraising initiatives and providing donations.

Site demolition of the existing playground will take place the first few weeks of July and the new playground build will commence on July 15. Construction is anticipated to take a minimum of three weeks.

Our new playground will be the first inclusive playground out of all three schools located in Hidden Valley and will be a park space that not only our students can enjoy during bell times, but our community will benefit from year-round. Stay tuned for information about our grand opening this fall.
