Student-Led Open House – Kindergarten to Grade 4 – as this is an Open House, families do not need to register to attend.
Our Student-Led Open House will be an opportunity for students to take the lead on sharing evidence of their learning, sharing their areas of strength and accomplishments, discussing next steps and setting their own learning targets.
As this is an Open House, you are able to attend at any time on Thursday, January 23, 2025, between 4:00pm - 5:30pm. Please ensure you arrive by 5:15pm so that you have 15 minutes to learn along side of your child. Your time at the school can take anywhere from 15 – 30 minutes. It is an important time to spend with your child, so your child needs to be with you. The teacher will be there to celebrate your child’s learning. Teachers will not be able to have individual conversations with parents/guardians regarding their child’s progress during this time. We look forward to seeing you!
The first report card will be posted on your child’s MyCBE/PowerSchool account on January 27, 2025.

Community Message from Mrs. Chastko: Refreshing Hidden Valley's Visual Identity
As part of our ongoing commitment to celebrating and enhancing our school’s identity, we’ve recently had the opportunity to reflect on our logo, which has served as a meaningful symbol for our community. After much consideration, we’ve decided to embark on an exciting journey to refresh and refine our visual representation.
This decision allows us to create a logo that fully reflects the vibrancy, inclusivity, and spirit of our diverse school community. While our current design has been cherished, this refresh offers an opportunity to align with contemporary standards and further celebrate the values that make Hidden Valley unique.
We’re eager to involve our community in this process and will be seeking input to ensure the new design feels authentic and representative. Please stay tuned for opportunities to share your thoughts and ideas in the weeks to come.
Thank you for your ongoing support and dedication to Hidden Valley School. We look forward to sharing updates with you as we move through this exciting chapter together.
Friendly Reminder re: Parking Lot
Just a reminder that the parking lot is for staff members only. It is not a safe place for drop-off or pick-up for parents at any time of the school day.
