Online Learning Conferences
We will be holding Online Learning Conferences on March 20 & 21, 2025. This is an opportunity for families to meet online with their child’s teacher to discuss their learning progress. All conferences must be booked online through your MyCBE / PowerSchool account using My Conference Manager. If you don’t have an account, please create one to schedule your appointment. 

If your family requires an interpreter, please let your child’s teacher know. 

MyConference Manager opened for parents to book their Online Learning Conferences on Thursday, March 13 at 5:00pm and will close on Thursday, March 20 at 3:00pm. 

Chantal Chagnon 
We have had the privilege of welcoming Cree & Métis Knowledge Keeper Chantal Chagnon into our school for several days this month.  Each class had the opportunity to gather with her 3 times, learning about drumming, drum-making, the medicine wheel, and the many beautiful connections between humans and nature.  Chantal tells stories, sings, and drums with each class and students can’t wait for their next session with her! 

Dress for the Weather Reminder 
Please make sure that students come dressed for the weather each day.  Packing an extra pair of mitts is also a good idea! Please label all items, as many clothing items end up in our lost and found. If labeled, they will be more likely to return home. 

MyCBE Academic Progress – Assignment and Grades 
Teachers are actively updating PowerSchool with assessment information reflecting your child’s progress. This is a valuable tool for staying informed about their academic development between report cards and conferences.
