New Classroom Complexity Team Announcement

Hidden Valley School is grateful to now have a Classroom Complexity Team to help support student success in learning, behaviour, and well-being. This valuable resource is part of a province-wide Alberta Education initiative to respond to the increasing complexity of today’s classrooms. At HVS, the team includes one teacher, Ms. Lisk, and two education assistants, Ms. Tara and Ms. Nida. They work collaboratively with classroom teachers to provide flexible support through small-group instruction, whole-class support, and one-on-one assistance. Assessment information is used to guide instruction and strengthen inclusive, caring classroom environments.

Currently, the team is focusing on building literacy skills in both English and French, supporting English language learners, and assisting students with social-emotional and behavioural needs.

If you have any questions, please call the office at 403-777-7236 to speak with Principal Michelle Chastko or Assistant Principal Trevor Cassidy.
