🕷️🐍Squirm Musical – Thank You! 🪱 🦇
A huge thank you to everyone who was able to join us for the Squirm musical performances! Our students did an incredible job bringing the show to life, and we’re so proud of their energy, creativity, and dedication.
Special thanks to Ms. Clarissa for her leadership and dedication in guiding the students, and to all of our amazing teachers and staff for their support. We’re also so grateful to the many parent volunteers, especially Mr. Daniel Lee, whose audio-visual expertise made a huge difference.
Thank you for taking the time to come and support your children—it meant so much to them and to us!
🚶♀️🚴♂️ Walk & Wheel Week: June 16–19 🛴🌞
Get ready to move, Hidden Valley! From June 16 to 19, we’re celebrating Walk & Wheel Week — a fun way to stay active and take care of ourselves and our planet.
Students are encouraged to walk, bike, scooter, or wheel to school — or simply be active before or after school if that’s not possible. Each day students are active outside of school; they’ll earn one ballot toward our exciting prize draws!
🎁 Prizes include:
- Helmets & Scooters from councilor Jasmine Mian
- ·A Garmin watch
- And over $500 worth of other prizes donated by our incredible Parent Council!
🎉 Prize draws will take place on Wednesday, June 19th.
A few friendly reminders:
- Be safe: Use crosswalks, wear helmets, and follow road rules.
- Be kind: Share pathways and cheer each other on.
- Be proud: Every step, pedal, or roll helps keep you healthy and helps our Earth.

Families must be registered by Sunday, June 22 for students to be added to routes for the start of the next school year!
Dress for the Weather
Students will spend time outside each day. Please send them with a hat, sunscreen, and a bottle of water as the weather is getting warmer!
Student-Led Open House – June 19
Our Student-Led Open House will be an opportunity for students to take the lead on sharing evidence of their learning, sharing their areas of strength and accomplishments, discussing next steps and setting their own learning targets.
As this is an Open House, you are able to attend at anytime between 3:30pm - 5:00pm. You do not need to register to attend. Your time at the school can take anywhere from 15 – 30 minutes. It is an important time to spend with your child. The teacher will be there to celebrate your child’s learning. As this is an Open House, teachers will not be able to have individual conversations with parents/guardians regarding their child. There will also be food trucks set up out front of the school so that you can enjoy a treat while you celebrate your child’s learning. We look forward to seeing you!
HVS Registration
We’re excited to welcome new students into our Hidden Valley family for the upcoming school year! If you know anyone planning to join us in September, please encourage them to register as soon as possible. Early registration helps us plan effectively and ensures a smooth start for everyone.
We also still have space available in our French Immersion program. We are accepting new Kindergarten registrations - it's a great opportunity to begin a bilingual learning journey!
